BREAKING NEWS: Gospel Singer Aduke Gold Passes Away

 In a somber turn of events, Nigerian gospel music has lost one of its shining stars. Aduke Gold, whose soulful voice and uplifting gospel messages resonated with fans, has been confirmed dead. 

Aduke Gold, born Ajayi Aduke Morounkola, began her musical journey professionally in 2004. She gained prominence with her captivating live performance at the first remembrance event for the late gospel artiste, Baba Ara. Known for her powerful vocals, Aduke touched hearts with her song “Nitori Ogo,” which translates to “Because of Glory.”

Some of her top songs on Apple Music include “Shina Ayo,” “No Be Joke,” “Temidayo,” “Gbemiga,” and her latest release, “Kobo.” Her music resonated with listeners, offering hope and inspiration.

Aduke hailed from Osun State and held a first degree in History and International Relations from Lagos State University (LASU). She was an internationally certified child educator, specializing in Child Psychology and the Montessori method of education.

Aduke Gold’s passing was announced by fellow gospel artiste Esther Igbekele via Instagram. Igbekele wrote, “A general has fallen. Aduke Gold #RIP.” As of now, the cause of her death remains unknown, and no official statement has been released by her family or management123.
