The President and Chief Executive of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has reaffirmed that the $20 billion Dangote Petroleum Refinery was specifically built to utilize Nigerian crude oil and enhance its value within the country1.

With the ability to process various crudes, including Middle Eastern Arab Light and US Light tight oil, the refinery is set to create a market for $21 billion per annum of Nigerian crude2.
